Adding a page requires two steps: create an article (Content → Articles → New), then create a menu item (Menus → Main Menu → New) pointing to it. Without a menu item, the article exists but has no URL on the site. Set the menu item’s parent to control where it appears in navigation, or leave it without a parent to make it accessible only via direct link.
- Go to Admin → Content → Articles → New
- Write your content, set the category, and click Save & Close
- Go to Admin → Menus → Main Menu → Add New Menu Item
- Set Menu Item Type to Articles → Single Article, select your article, set the title and alias
- Save — your new page is immediately live at its alias URL
To make it appear in the navigation dropdown, set its parent to the appropriate top-level menu item. To keep it accessible only via direct URL, leave it without a parent or set Published to No on the menu item (the page still loads if someone has the URL).
